Sharon Hoover Stephan, Director of Research and Analysis  Sharon Hoover Stephan received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland Baltimore County in 2002, completing her clinical internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Maryland School of Medicine at the Center for School Mental Health (CSMH) and the School Mental Health Program. She is currently the Director of Research and Analysis at the CSMH and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Stephan's clinical and research focus is in the area of implementing empirically-supported interventions in school-based settings, with a particular emphasis on serving traumatized youth. Dr. Stephan continues to serve as a mental health clinician in a Baltimore City high school one day per week.
