Marcia Rubin, PhD, MPH

Marcia Rubin has been the Director of Research & Sponsored Programs at the American School Health Association since 1996.  The mission of the Association is to promote the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff in schools.  She came to ASHA from Kent State University where she had been a faculty member in the Health Promotion Program.  She holds a doctorate in health education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Masters in Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Minnesota.
