| | Reduced 13th Annual Conference Registration Rates for Journal Subscribers The Center for School Mental Health (CSMH) at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, in collaboration with the Clifford Beers Foundation in England has launched the journal, Advances in School Mental Health Promotion. The journal “aims to promote global dialogue, collaboration and action toward the advancement of training, practice, research and policy in school mental health promotion.” Free downloadable versions of the inaugural issue are available on the journal’s website, www.schoolmentalhealth.co.uk. The journal is being operated as a not-for-profit joint venture between the Clifford Beers Foundation and the CSMH, with funding supporting global training on mental health promotion. As a special promotion, all individuals who subscribe to the journal between May and September 2008 will receive $50 off the registration fee to the 13th Annual Conference on Advancing School Mental Health, organized by the CSMH and the IDEA Partnership (www.ideapartnership.org) to be held in Phoenix, Arizona, September 25-27, 2008.
