Michael Summers serves as a Special Assistant/Community Liaison for the Prince George's County State’s Attorney’s Office. He graduated from Eastern Guilford High School, and he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina A & T State University. He has served in this capacity since 2004.
Mr. Summers develops programs, plans strategies and solutions for problems and issues associated with juvenile delinquency through prevention and intervention efforts. Meets with elected and appointed officials, community leaders to win support and recognition for State’s Attorney’s outreach programs for juvenile delinquency prevention and intervention initiatives.
He is a Member of the Cheltenham Youth Facility (CYF) Advisory Board, Prince George's Co. School Mental Health Initiative Advisory Board, Prince George’s County Workforce Investment Board’s Youth Counsel, and Prince George's Co. Schools Interagency on Attendance Council.
Mr. Summers has been a recipient of the Civic Engagement Award from the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Foundation of Prince George's County as well as an Outstanding Contributor Award for his involvement with the Prince George’s Co. Local Management Board and The Dreams & Visions Image Award from The Williams Worthy Legal Team.
