Laura Bay is an educator, parent and community advocate for children and family issues at the local, state and national levels. She is the immediate past president of the National PTA, having served a total of 12 years within their governance structure. Laura has taught at the elementary level and currently works in the district office at the Bremerton School District in Washington state. Laura has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in elementary/middle school education (math and science specialty) from Old Dominion University and earned a principal and administrator credential from the University of Washington. She resides with her family in Poulsbo, Washington.
