Angela Oddone, LCSW is a psychotherapist and owner of Resiliency Strategies LLC, and has practiced psychotherapy with individual adults and adolescents, couples, and families for more than 15 years. She uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach influenced by her training in psychosocial development and family systems. She received her MSW from Catholic University of America and her B.A. in speech communication from George Mason University.
In addition to clinical work, Angela contributes to resiliency initiatives for organizations, schools and communities. During her work for the National Education Association, funded by the US Department of Health & Human Services, Angela created a resiliency strategies platform for promoting resilience that The Pentagon selected for use with civilian employees after 9/11.
Angela's clinical work experience includes a private practice in Del Ray (1995-2005) and employment at Northern Virginia Family Service, Women's Growth & Therapy Center, Delaware Hospice, The Pentagon and the US Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition, she has worked for the National School Boards Association, American Nurses Association, and American Psychological Association.
